Il permet de filmer indépendamment chaque individu et de diffuser simultanément l’image du groupe de slameurs. Dispositif générique, il est reproductible dans différentes cultures. Débuté à Paris en 2002, Peripherical Communities a, depuis, été réalisé à Séoul (2003), Dakar (2005), Amsterdam (2006), et Paris/Londres (2008).
Peripherical Communities is an instrument to capture and record the reality of slam poetry community in the outskirts of large cities. It allows each person to be filmed separately and then diffused as a group of slam poets. This is a generic installation that can be reproduced by different cultural groups. Begining in Paris in 2002, Peripherical Communities has been created in Seoul (2003), Dakar (2005), Amsterdam (2006) and Paris/London (2008).
